  1. "A Time For Dancing" I'd have to say is on my list of top books to read. it was such a touching story about two best friends who steadily grew apart. Not because of differences, but because of cancer. Julie had cancer and even though through all the treatment she still didnt get better. When she first lost her hair thats when things took a turn. She didnt want to see anyone, not even her best friend Samantha. They were dancers and once they found out that Julie had cancer she couldnt dance anymore. But at the end of the story they danced together one more time before she was comfortable with the fact that she was going to die. She pasted but in spirit she was still there. Such a beautiful story that i cried, because my grandmother had past not too long before i read it of diabetes.

  2. Wuthering Heights by:Emily Bronte

Wuthering Heights is a great story about love, revenge, wealth, and betrayal. It centers around the lives of a young orphan named Heathcliff and a young girl named Catherine. Throughout the book their story developes and goes through different stages each connecting with the reader in different ways. I would personally recommend this to any reader searching for a great gothic novel.

  3. Go Ask Alice
Go Ask Alice is a actually based on a diary of a young girl who in this case is referred to as Alice. This book consists of two diaries that she keeps during her teenage period.
Alice lets the reader beome a big part of her life by engaging them in her everyday life situations. At one point Alice lets drugs, sex and every other a teenager faces control her. Alice began her diary as a very conservative girl and as tim,e progresses she becomes a lunatic drug addict. It all started with a simple drug trip and ended up with a tremendous curiosity to try all types of other drugs. Along with drugs came sex. Thus being said her drug abuse led to an undefined death.
In essence, this diary leaves a big impact on teh reader. The life choices she makes actualle makes me realize how important it is to restrain myself from such things. Not only does it serve as a good reading choice but as an inpirational story to help get teens away from such bad things.

The book I read is called "Specials". It is the third sequel of the book called "Uglies". In the story, Tally Youngblood is forced to be a part of a secret police force called The Special Circumstances. She obeys every rule until she is asked to join the New Smoke. Tally also tries to save her boyfriend, Zane, from brain damage that was caused by the cure. She and her friend Shay try to sneak in the the city's armory room and it causes a war between Prettytown and Diego. At the end of the book, Tally injects the cure on a doctor and leader of Special Circumstances named Dr.Cable to return her mind back to normal and went out into the wild with her ugly friend name David and they start to form a new Special Circumstances. It's a really great book to read because when you read it, it actually feels like you are there in the story and there are a lot of things in the story that will surprise you. I would personally recommend this book because it has action, adventure, and science fiction. I also recommend to read the first book "Uglies" so that the reader will understand more of what is going on.

twilight is the first of saga, this book is based on the creatures of the night vampires. this book stars of slow if you get far enough in the story it begins to get interesting. Its about a girl "Bella" that moves in with her father, she begins to go high school like a normal student when she meets Edward Collens a quiet mysterious young man. As the story goes on she seems to be more interested in him, then she finds out his secret he's a vampire. Later on it begins to get good with the introduction of anther vampire with the interest of killing Bella. if you want to know more head on down to your local library. This book would most likely interesting to the "ladies" because of the fantasy and the love in the story but if you're a guy I'm not judging I read it and I thought it was ok

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is a novel written by Mark Twain. This book is about a young book that always seems to get in to trouble during his adventures, also based somewhere in the deep south.Huckleberry Finn is a boy with a troubled past, though never spoke of you can asume his mother is dead and his alcoholic/abusive father is also dead or thats what people think anyways. Since he had no parents to raise as a child he learn to live life with no rules, until two women take him in they try to teach him manners and religon. because of this and a few other resons he begins his biggest advanture of his life ride down the Mississippi river. though a bit slow I enjoyed this book bcause of its the theme, the conflict civilization between natural life.

  9. BURNED by Ellen Hopkins is a story of a young girl by the name of Pattyn who engages the reader into her daily struggles. She lives in a small Mormon community and is often controled by her parents and bishop's rules. Doing so Pattyn involves herself into a group of teenagers who are not Mormons and becomes part of wrongful actions. Most of her Mormon community including her parents viewed her as rebellious. She was sent off to live with an aunt where she met the love of her life and was forced to come back home to take care of her sisters. Pattyn lived with the abuse of her father until one day she decided to run away and start the family with Ethan, her boyfriend and the baby she was expecting. Doing so, led to a car accident where she lost both the baby and boyfriend.
Pattyn makes the reader part of her daily struggles and sacrifices. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone.

I read “Enders Game” the story takes place in the future,in 2070. Its been 40 years since “Buggers” a devestating alien invasion occured, and the world is searching for soldiers who will lead the world to victory. Soldiers are badly needed for war and soon they draft children that go through tough training. A boy named Andrew “Ender” Wiggin is drafted and his genius mind puts him at the top of games in a Battle Room. The battle is really with a boy named Bonzo Madrid who is determined that he and “Ender” cannot survive the battle against “Buggers”. “Ender’s” teacher Mazer Rackham is preparing the soldiers and wants “Ender” to learn, while “Ender” battles himself in life and others around him even as he sees himself transform into the “Buggers” themselves.

  12. "Maniac Magee" by Jerry Spinelli

Jeffrey (Maniac) Lionel Magee was a runaway. Well not technically a runaway. He ran away from home because he couldnt stand that his aunt and uncle wouldnt talk to each other at all. So he decided that he wanted to leave... so he left. He ran and ran and ran. He ran for a year. But when he stopped he came to a town named Two Mills. This town was divided in two. On the East End lived the blacks. And on the West End lived the whites. Well to Maniac everyone was the same, everyone were just people to him. But to the people of Two Mills they were like two different species that weren't supposed to interact at all. But to Maniac people were people and for awhile he lived on the East End with the Beales, a black family.
Well it seemed that wherever Maniac went trouble was surely behind him, because one day an old black man came out and told Maniac to go back to 'his' people. He didnt understand at first but realised that he was just causing harm to the Beales because their house had been written on with the words 'GO HOME FISHBELLY'. So he left and started running again. But evenually Jeffrey brought these people together... but that you'll have to find out... I wont be telling. :)
